Full Job Description

Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Certified Medication Aides (CMA) to join our healthcare team. Part-time and Full-time shifts - day or evening - are available. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support nursing staff, and ensure the comfort and well-being of patients in accordance with established practices and standards. Responsibilities:

Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff.
Help patients with mobility, including transferring, walking, and using mobility aids.
Assist with feeding patients who require help, ensuring dietary restrictions are respected.
Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, including tidying up rooms and changing linens.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Assist nurses with basic medical procedures and support with medical equipment.
Follow patient care plans as directed by nursing staff, ensuring all care is provided with respect and dignity.
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sanitary conditions within the facility.
Must participate in training and continuing education as required to maintain certification.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from an accredited program.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to empathize with patients and provide emotional support.
Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
