About the Role:

The Supermarket Meat Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring customers receive high-quality meat products that meet safety and freshness standards. This position involves preparing, cutting, and packaging various types of meat while maintaining strict hygiene and safety protocols. The associate will also provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service, assisting shoppers with their meat selections and answering any related questions. Additionally, the role requires monitoring inventory levels, rotating stock, and minimizing waste to optimize product availability and store profitability. Ultimately, the Meat Associate contributes to a positive shopping experience by delivering expertly handled meat products and maintaining an organized, clean work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of meat cutting and handling procedures.
Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:
