Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) (Springfield, Virginia)
Autism Behavior Therapies LLC comprises a team of Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), Licensed Speech Therapists (SLPs), and Licensed Occupational Therapists (OTs), supported by over 250 dedicated behavior therapists.

We offering both clinic and home-based ABA therapy, along with clinic-based Speech and Occupational Therapy, our commitment is to deliver the highest quality programs.

To ensure excellence, our behavior therapists undergo weekly supervision by BCBA or BCaBA supervisors and mandatory monthly meetings to stay abreast of the latest methods.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Autism Behavior Therapies LLC. (ABT), BCBA Position Announcement:

Locations: Springfield, Falls Church, Annandale, Vienna, Chantilly, Herndon, Reston, Leesburg, Centreville, Lorton, Springfield, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Sterling, Woodbridge, Dumfries, Fredericksburg, Meanness, Gainesville, Haymarket, Bristow, Ashburn, Aldie, Dulles, Hamilton.

Position: Full-time

Education: Master’s degree in related field (e.g. ABA, Special Education, Psychology)

License: VA license (Required) BCBA (Required)

Experience: BCBA: At least 1 year or more (Preferred)

Benefits: $85,000 to $92,000 annual salary

Reports to: Program Director ABTs.

Required: BCBA is required to travel to VA every 2-3 months for in person assessments and training. All travel expenses paid by company.

Autism Behavior Therapies (ABTs) is seeking BCBAs who are dedicated to serving the needs of clients with autism and developmental disabilities. ABTs consists of a professional group of BCBA-Doctoral level, BCBAs, BCaBAs, including over 90 highly trained and fully committed behavior therapists, who work with their clients on a daily basis.

Our priority is to provide the highest quality program to our clients. To meet this goal, our behavior therapists receive weekly supervision by a BCBA or BCaBA supervisor and are required to attend monthly trainings to keep them current with the latest methods of ABA interventions.

Many of our behavior therapists are currently working on becoming Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)s, and most of our behavior therapists have been medical doctors or schoolteachers in their own native countries.

Since our behavior therapists are from many different cultures, they are able to understand and meet the cultural needs of all our clients.

We are very proud of our experienced staff of behavior therapists and we provide the best incentives for them to continue with our program on a long-term basis. As a result, we have a very low turnover rate (less than 5%). This ensures that our clients will receive continuity of intervention from a behavior therapist who has established a full rapport with the client. This is very important since children with autism have difficulty establishing relationships with people outside of the family. As a BCBA, when you join our program, you will become a part of this professional group.

Summary of Position: The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, BCBA, will provide intensive treatment for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder. The majority of the services involve providing Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention for young children but can also involve conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Behavior Intervention Plans. Our ABA team is highly experienced and is committed to serving children and families with special needs.

Role: The BCBA position is considered a leadership role within ABTs. The ideal candidate will be able to develop client treatment plans, as well as supervise Behavior Technicians to implement such plans. The BCBA will assist Behavior Therapists to overcome challenges and will answer questions about their daily client interactions. Solid communication skills and openness to feedback are necessary. The BCBA must be organized, committed, and always willing to help and support all members of the team.
