Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Operator/Machinist to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used throughout the manufacturing and assembly process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an environment where your skills directly contribute to delivering to our customers.

Duties

Operate machinery such as drill press, honing machine, sand blaster, pneumatic tools, grinding tools and pressure washer.
Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges and other quality control tools to maintain tight tolerances.
Handle materials safety using forklifts and other materials handling while ensuring proper storage and inventory control with the manufacturing facility.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and adjustments on machinery to optimize performance and prevent downtime.
Use forklifts and other equipment to safely move parts within the facility.
Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks to meet production deadlines.
Maintain detailed records of production activities and equipment maintenance logs.

Skills

Basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and quality control calculations.
Ability to operate forklift safely, forklift certification is preferred buy not mandatory.
Familiarity with quality control tools such as calipers, pin gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, dial gauges other precision measuring equipment.
Excellent attention to detail.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
