Plumber — Marianna, FL | Veteran-Owned | Up to $40/hr
Our company is a veteran-owned residential construction and home services company based in Marianna, Florida. We build custom homes, remodel, re-roof, and run a full home services division covering plumbing, electrical, and HVAC across Jackson, Holmes, and the surrounding Northwest Florida counties.
We're hiring one experienced plumber who can genuinely do it all — service calls, repairs, residential new construction, commercial build-outs, gas, and well systems. Not a helper. Not someone who needs a second truck rolled to finish the job.
Pay runs up to $40/hr for the right plumber. Your rate is built from a solid hourly base plus performance pay, and we'll walk you through exactly how it works — with real numbers — in the interview. No games, no surprises.
If you show up, do clean work, and take care of the customer, this is a long-term seat with real money behind it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Residential service and repair — water heaters, drain and sewer, water lines, fixtures, repipes, leaks, and diagnostics (this is our main focus)
- Residential new construction — rough-in, top-out, and trim on custom homes and additions
- Commercial service (Rarely)
- Septic installation and repair
- Gas work — natural gas and LP piping, appliance connections, pressure testing, and leak repair
- Well systems — pumps, pressure tanks, controls, and troubleshooting
- Read plans and lay out systems to the 2023 Florida Building Code and Florida Fuel Gas Code
- Diagnose accurately, give the homeowner clear options in plain English, and present flat-rate pricing
- Document every job with photos and complete paperwork in ServiceTitan on a company device
- Keep your truck stocked, clean, and inventoried
- Represent us professionally on every property — clean appearance, respectful communication, jobsite left better than you found it
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Verifiable hands-on plumbing experience across service, residential, and new construction (5+ years preferred)
- Septic Experience
- Ability to run a job start to finish without supervision
- Clean driving record — valid Florida driver's license and an MVR we can insure. Not negotiable; we run it before we hire.
- Willing to complete a background check and drug screen after a job offer
- Own hand tools (a plus)
- Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for work orders, photos, and customer paperwork
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in crawlspaces, attics, trenches, and Florida heat
- Dependable. Shows up on time, every day, and picks up the phone when something changes.
- Honest, professional, and good with customers inside their home
NICE TO HAVE
- Florida journeyman or master plumber card
- Backflow certification
- Prior ServiceTitan or similar field software experience
