PCA - Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PCA (Personal Care Assistant) to join our team in Graceville, FL. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and services to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:

Assist residents with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide continence care, including incontinence products and hygiene
Help residents with mobility and ambulation, including transfers and walks
Assist with feeding and hydration, including tube feeding and nasogastric tube management
Support residents with medication management, including administration and documentation
Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control measures
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Document resident care and progress in electronic medical records

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in healthcare or geriatric care setting preferred
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with assistance as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
