Behavioral Health Clinician (LSW/LPC)

Pay: Starting at $26.50/hour

Are you passionate about helping individuals overcome mental health and substance use challenges? Join Oriana House as a Behavioral Health Clinician, where you'll provide compassionate, evidence-based care while helping clients build healthier, more independent lives.

This role offers the opportunity to work with individuals through assessment, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing therapeutic support. You'll collaborate with clients to develop meaningful treatment goals and empower them to make informed decisions that support long-term recovery and wellness.

What You'll Do

As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will:

Complete psychiatric diagnostic evaluations using DSM-5 and ICD-10 criteria.
Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and determine appropriate treatment recommendations.
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based counseling techniques.
Deliver Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS), Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST), and crisis psychotherapy when clinically appropriate.
Assist with intake documentation, including assessments, releases of information, and treatment consents.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic health records.
Monitor client progress and regularly review and update treatment plans.
Coordinate referrals and communicate treatment recommendations with appropriate providers and staff.
Provide mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment to adults, adolescents, and children (where applicable).
Provide coverage for behavioral health services based on clinical expertise and organizational needs.
Maintain confidentiality while adhering to all applicable regulations, agency policies, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree
Current Ohio LSW or LPC license in good standing

Preferred:

Master's degree
Current Ohio LSW or LPC license

Ideal candidates will also have:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of behavioral health documentation requirements and confidentiality regulations
Commitment to ethical practice and the Counselor's Code of Ethics
A positive, recovery-focused approach to working with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use disorders
Ability to work collaboratively with clients, coworkers, community partners, and multidisciplinary teams
