Full Job Description

The Landing is looking for an experienced and dependable Full-Time Evening Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

We are a busy full-service restaurant serving steaks, seafood, sushi, and a variety of freshly prepared dishes. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen and can handle a station independently during busy dinner service.

Responsibilities

● Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards

● Work efficiently on grill, sauté, fryer, or other hot-line stations

● Handle a station independently during busy dinner service

● Maintain consistent food quality, portioning, and presentation

● Complete daily prep and keep your station stocked and organized

● Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures

● Maintain a clean and organized work area

● Communicate and work well with the kitchen team

● Assist with closing duties at the end of the shift

Qualifications

● Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience required

● Grill, sauté, or hot-line experience strongly preferred

● Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced dinner service

● Dependable, punctual, and responsible

● Able to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality

● Strong teamwork and communication skills

● Must be available to work evenings and weekends

● Reliable transportation required

Schedule

Full-Time – Evening/Dinner Shift

Approximately 35–40+ hours per week, depending on business needs.

Weekend availability is required.

Pay

$20–$25 per hour

Starting pay will be based on previous kitchen experience, skill level, and ability to work stations independently.
