Full-Time Banking Office Manager
We are seeking a motivated Banking Office Manager to join our team and play a key role in an exciting growth opportunity. This position will lead office operations, foster strong customer relationships, develop team members, and support business growth. Training will be conducted at our Oconto location, with the successful candidate transitioning to another location within the market area as business needs evolve.
What You'll Do:
Sales and Growth Leadership
· Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and building lasting customer relationships.
· Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly, professionally, and effectively.
· Foster and maintain a consistent, customer-focused experience for every customer, every day.
· Deepen existing relationships and grow new customer relationships.
· Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance customer experience.
· Meet individual and office goals for deposits, new accounts, and relationship growth.
· Coach and support team members in delivering outstanding consultative service and sales results.
Team Development and Performance Management
· Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve individual, office, and bank goals.
· Serve as a mentor, providing guidance on complex transactions and supporting employee growth and development.
· Foster a collaborative, positive team environment focused on exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
· Monitor and manage office performance, productivity, and goal attainment, reporting results to the VP Market Manager.
· Recognize and celebrate successes while proactively addressing performance gaps and identifying opportunities for improvement.
· Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning to meet customer, employee, and business needs.
Supervision
· Model and promote the bank’s Vision, Mission, Core Values, Strategic Plan, and THRIVE culture through strong leadership and personal accountability.
· Lead the hiring, onboarding, development, performance management, and retention of team members.
· Set clear goals, provide coaching and mentorship, and support employee growth and success.
· Foster a positive, collaborative team environment that promotes engagement and teamwork.
· Ensure appropriate cross-training, continuity planning, and delivery of exceptional internal and external customer service.
· Partner with HR and management to align team responsibilities and resources with strategic objectives.
· Perform supervisory responsibilities effectively and in accordance with personnel policies and HR procedures.
Retail Deposits Operations and Compliance
· Maintains a high level of knowledge of the Bank’s compliance requirements, industry regulations, new account documentation, CSR procedures, Universal Banker procedures, Personal Banker procedures, and bank policies.
· Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Service Terms and Conditions, product disclosures, account agreements, and all product offerings.
· Effectively explains terms, disclosures, and account features to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
· Builds customer trust by confidently discussing account requirements, products, services, and regulatory information.
· Stays current on policy, procedural, and regulatory changes to ensure accurate customer guidance and compliance.
Strategic Goal and Culture
· Supports the Bank by demonstrating and reinforcing SNBT’s premier culture, core values, and positive team relationships.
· Maintains a strong commitment to personal, departmental, and bank-wide goals and objectives.
· Partners closely with other departments and teams to support strategic initiatives, growth objectives, and customer satisfaction goals.
· Contributes to effective risk management, operational efficiency, and the achievement of overall Bank objectives.
· Encourages collaboration, teamwork, and open communication while fostering a positive, supportive, and engaged team environment.
Transaction Processing
· As a backup resource, accurately and efficiently processes customer transactions, including check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, cashier’s checks, and safe deposit box payments.
· Admits customers to safe deposit boxes, provides account information, and verifies endorsements and checks in accordance with established policies and procedures.
· Ensures all transactions are completed with a high degree of accuracy, care, and attention to detail to deliver exceptional customer experience.
· Enhances the customer experience by promoting and educating customers on the Bank’s digital transaction capabilities and self-service channels.
· Serves as a backup to Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and Universal Bankers (UBs) to support branch operations and customer needs.

Qualifications:
Five years banking experience required. Customer service experience required. High school education or equivalent. Post high school technical training or continuing education is desired. Excellent communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills using tact and professionalism. Applies sales and service management techniques to achieve bank goals and objectives.
