Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher and become an essential part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! Duties

Thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using manual or machine methods in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
Maintain cleanliness of all work areas including dishwashing stations, prep stations, and storage areas to meet sanitation standards
Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic ingredient handling and setup to support chefs and kitchen staff
Bypass dirty dishes from dining areas by bussing tables efficiently and ensuring timely collection for cleaning
Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, including dishwashers, sinks, and other cleaning tools
Follow proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy items like large pots or crates of supplies to prevent injury
Adhere strictly to food safety management practices and restaurant health and safety standards at all times

Experience

Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
Familiarity with food handling, sanitation procedures, and kitchen health standards is advantageous
Experience in catering or banquet settings can be beneficial for managing high-volume cleaning tasks during events
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of basic knife skills or culinary experience is a plus for supporting kitchen operations during busy periods
