Full Job Description

The Morrow County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and community-minded Executive Director to lead daily operations, support members, coordinate programs and events, and promote business, tourism, and community vitality throughout Morrow County. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors and serves as the Chamber’s primary representative to members, partners, local government, visitors, and the public.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day Chamber operations, communications, member services, and administrative functions.
Work with the Board of Directors to implement goals, budgets, programs, policies, and strategic priorities.
Recruit, retain, and engage members through outreach, relationship-building, events, and value-driven programming.
Plan and promote Chamber events, networking opportunities, ribbon cuttings, educational programs, and community initiatives.
Represent the Chamber and Visitors Bureau with businesses, community partners, local government, media, and the public.
Support financial management, sponsorships, revenue development, reporting, and responsible use of resources.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Morrow County communities and businesses.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Comfort with public speaking and technology.
Preferred qualifications include experience in nonprofit leadership, business development, marketing, community relations, event planning, or a related field.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
