Classroom Assistant

We are looking for another 1-2 Infant and Toddler childcare passionate individuals to join our team either full-time or part time AM or PM! Job Summary:

The Classroom Enrichment Assistant will work closely with the other classroom teacher and support staff to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. They will assist in the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children. Our ideal candidate is someone with a background in childcare, particular work within a center with a sense of leadership, early childhood classroom management experience, and the ability to be dependable and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and curriculum that support the development of children.
Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, and ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and regulations.
Collaborate with all staff to create a positive and supportive work environment, and foster a sense of teamwork and collaboration.
Actively engage and assist with the supervision of children during activities and playtime, and provide one-on-one support as needed.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

Childcare related experience or credentials connected to early childhood, Child Development, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a daycare or early childhood education setting.
Knowledge of age-appropriate activities, management strategies, and curriculum, as well as state licensing requirements and regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills.
Passion for working with young children and their families.
Ability to work as a positive team player and assist classroom team at a high level throughout the care day.
Reliability and dependability to successfully support daily operations.
Flexibility in terms of being trained to efficiently help out with all age groups.

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
