Security Officer - Third Shift

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Marion, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control and badge procedures, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, loading docks, parking areas, administrative spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and unusual occurrences.
Observe operational areas for security-related concerns, report hazards or maintenance issues to site contacts, and assist with emergency evacuations and response procedures as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer Service Experience is preferred.
Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
