About Dynamic TINT & Paint Protection
Dynamic TINT & Paint Protection is a premier automotive appearance and protection facility serving South Jersey. With over 20 years in business, we have built our reputation on quality workmanship, exceptional customer service, and the use of industry-leading products.
Our professional facility specializes in automotive window tint, paint protection film, ceramic coatings, and other vehicle protection services. We are an established XPEL dealer and take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, professional work environment.
We are looking for a motivated Window Tint Apprentice who is interested in learning the trade and building a long-term career in the automotive appearance and protection industry.
Position Overview
This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to learn professional automotive window tint installation from experienced technicians.
Previous professional tinting experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, pays attention to detail, takes pride in their work, and is eager to learn.
As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced installers and gradually learn every aspect of the tint installation process. The goal is to develop your skills to the point where you can confidently and independently perform professional-quality window tint installations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has an interest in cars, and wants to develop a specialized trade skill.
Responsibilities
As a Window Tint Apprentice, you will assist experienced technicians with:
- Preparing vehicles and glass for window tint installation.
- Thoroughly cleaning automotive glass before installation.
- Learning proper window film handling and installation techniques.
- Learning how to properly measure and cut window film.
- Learning proper film shrinking techniques.
- Assisting with installing window film under the supervision of experienced technicians.
- Removing existing window tint when necessary.
- Learning proper techniques for installing film on different vehicle makes and models.
- Helping protect vehicle interiors during installations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Preparing vehicles before and after installations.
- Inspecting completed work alongside experienced technicians.
- Learning how to identify and correct common installation issues.
- Following all company procedures for vehicle protection, shop cleanliness, and quality control.
- Assisting with other automotive protection services as opportunities arise.
Training & Development
Our goal is to teach you the trade, not simply have you perform basic shop tasks.
You will receive hands-on training from experienced window tint installers and progressively take on more responsibility as your skills develop.
Training will include:
- Proper glass preparation.
- Window film handling.
- Film cutting techniques.
- Heat shrinking techniques.
- Installation techniques.
- Clean edge techniques.
- Proper handling of vehicle trim and interiors.
- Tint removal.
- Working with different vehicle makes and models.
- Working with premium ceramic window films.
