Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and a commitment to food safety standards. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring that all dishes are cooked to perfection, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook grilled items according to menu specifications and customer preferences.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas.
Assist in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas for new dishes.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring consistency in presentation.
Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Grill Cook or similar role within the food industry.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods.
Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus.
Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, particularly in fine dining settings.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
