Full Job Description

Administrative Assistant

$16.00 - $20.00 an hour / 20 hours per week

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant in Spencer WI, where we engineer custom hydraulic cylinders at the highest quality. In this role, you will manage a multi-line phone system, perform clerical tasks, maintain organized systems, and often assist other departments with special projects. The ideal candidate has strong computer literacy skills, excellent phone etiquette, exceptional attention to detail and organization skills, and effective communication.

Job Type

Part-time
Monday-Friday, 20 hours/week

Salary

$16.00 - $20.00 *starting wage appropriate based on experience

Key Responsibilities

Manage multi-line phone system. Direct incoming calls with professional phone etiquette
Perform clerical tasks including copying, faxing, mailing, scanning, and filing
Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure quick retrieval of documents
Enter incoming goods into ERP accurately and efficiently
Assist Accounting & Production departments with data entry assignments as needed
Provide general administrative support with special projects
Follow verbal and written work instructions
Regular attendance required
All other duties and responsibilities as needed

Environmental/Physical/Cognitive Requirements

Able to regularly stand
Frequently required to walk, talk, and hear
Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Vision ability includes close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus

Qualifications

Previous administrative or office support experience preferred
High school diploma or GED
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
