Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Assistant Vice President of Operations to lead and optimize our team.

Duties

Functions as subject matter expert on all operational products while leading process improvement projects to increase operational efficiency, improve the member experience,and manage risk. Analyze operational problems and develops procedures for their resolution.
Develop and maintain guides and references. Develop and implement operationalprocedures and system utilization that supports the organizations long term strategicobjectives and vision. Oversees and completes all projects as assigned. Keeps managementapprised of all critical issues.
Indirect responsibility for functions of the member service operations, including training anddevelopment. Provide coaching support to employees to assist them in achieving higherproductivity levels. Provide support for operational goal attainment.
Strategic visions contribute to the success of the company's strategic plans and recommendimprovements to products, pricing, cost effectiveness and procedures.
Works closely with the COO formulating and recommending operating policies and objectivesor changes in existing policies and objectives; insures compliance with and implementation ofapproved policies and objectives.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations,including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of ForeignAssets Control.

Qualifications

5-10 years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. Member facing operations experiencein a bank/credit union setting is required.
A 2-year college degree is required, bachelor's is preferred.
A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanationswith customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidentialnature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters ofsignificance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial and statistical data. Ability to review legal opinions regarding generaloperations and recommend appropriate action.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
