Join our dynamic culinary team as a Full-Time Sous Chef, where your passion for food and desire to learn will elevate our dining experience to new heights. In this vital role, you will assist in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, and inspiring your team to deliver outstanding service. Your expertise in fine dining, food safety, and team supervision will be instrumental in creating memorable culinary moments for our guests. We are committed to fostering a vibrant, energetic environment that values innovation, teamwork, and excellence.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen functions, including food preparation, presentation, and service standards.
Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high levels of performance, teamwork, and morale.
Manage food production processes, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and quality standards.
Work with the head chef to Implement and monitor food safety sanitizing procedures to uphold health regulations and cleanliness.
Coordinate inventory management and control to minimize waste while ensuring the availability of ingredients for menu items.
Support menu planning efforts by contributing creative ideas aligned with culinary trends and guest preferences.
Maintain a strong focus on cost control measures without compromising quality or guest satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with all food handling regulations and safety protocols across the kitchen.

Experience

Five to six years background in food production, food service management, and restaurant operations.
Knowledge of dietary department procedures and specialized dietary needs management.
Hands-on experience with inventory control, cost management, and kitchen management systems.
Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and overall health standards required by regulatory agencies.
Leadership skills in managing teams as a chef while fostering a positive work environment focused on excellence.
Experience in a fine dining restaurant is a plus.
