Full Job Description

We currently have an opening for a Full Time Office Manager/ Bookkeeper in Salisbury, MD.

Reporting directly to upper management, this leadership position will provide direct oversight to a team of 2-3 administrative employees.The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and have the ability to motivate and lead a team to reach their goals. The candidate should also have construction accounting experience, the ability to multi task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously, have excellent communication skills, both oral and written and be proficient in computer use. Monday thru Friday role (8:00am to 4:00pm) with no evening, weekend or on-call hours.

*Recent QuickBooks experience is a must!*

The individual in this position must be able to provide administrative support in all facets of work, such as:

Supports Supervisors and sales department

Oversight and assist administrative personnel including two administrative assistants.

Track orders/reports as necessary.

Maintenance/Repair/Ordering of supplies for all office equipment.

Demonstrate ability to improve processes. Train new administrative employees on current processes.

Uses judgment and common sense at all times while maintaining emotional self-control.

Oversight of Payroll functions.

The ability to manage all AR/AP functions.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma required. Associates degree or higher in business preferred.

2 years + experience.

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reports. Construction accounting exp. a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.

Detail oriented and organized

Ability to meet deadlines.

**Candidates without Quickbooks exp. will not be considered**
