Job Title

Junior Administrative Assistant

Salary

Commensurate with industry position, depending on experience.

Travel

May involve travel approximately 10% of the time.

We are seeking a Junior Administrative Assistant to join our team who will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities and Qualifications will include but are not limited to:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond to telephone calls, take messages, and direct callers or visitors to requested staff.
Prepare correspondence, reports, memorandums, and emails for distribution across the organization.
Assist with travel vouchers.
Arrange conference calls and schedule meetings.
Compose calendars, schedules, and itineraries.
Monitor and provide inventory control for office supplies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have any supervisor responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Teams.
Proficiency in video conferencing technology, including Video Tele Conferences, Webex, and Zoom.
Familiarity with the Defense Travel System (DTS).
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Familiarity with military customs and courtesies.
Understanding of Department of Defense processes.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

BA/BS degree
0 to 3 years of experience providing administrative and clerical support.

Minimum Security Clearance

Current active Secret Clearance
