Join Our Team as a Flagger!

Position Overview:

As a Flagger, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring safety and efficient traffic flow at our work sites. Your keen awareness, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to implement Traffic Control Plans (TCP) will help protect both our team and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

Traffic Control Operations:
Direct both vehicular and pedestrian traffic around work zones.
Operate essential traffic control equipment, including stop/slow paddles, warning signs, and signaling devices.
Read and comprehend Traffic Control Plans (TCP) specific to each site.
Set up work zones safely and effectively, ensuring proper placement of signs, cones, and other devices.
Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel using standard signals and procedures.
Safety Awareness:
Maintain constant vigilance of your surroundings to ensure safety.
Adhere to all safety guidelines, standards, and site-specific regulations.
Be prepared to respond swiftly to emergency situations, adjusting traffic control measures as needed.
Always wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements:

Strong understanding of traffic control operations and safety protocols.
Ability to stand for extended periods in various environments.
WA State Flagger Certification (required).
Ability to follow instructions from team leads and foremen.
Punctual, responsible, and self-motivated.
