Full Job Description

The Mental Health Therapist works under the supervision of the Practice Manager to provide clinical assessment, referral and/or counseling for mental health problems.

Provide assessment, diagnosis, counseling, and follow-up to clients. Maintains and interprets documentation of clinical work and other statistically relevant data; meeting quality assurance standards.
Provides assessment, counseling and/or referral services to patients at Mosaic Outpatient Behavioral Health or Mosaic Counseling Care.
Provide computerized/written reports and/or clinical documentation for legal purposes and administrative accountability.
Attend relevant and required meetings to provide consultation and gain needed information relevant to work.
Available for clients in emergency situations.
Complete clinical notes in a timely manner and paperwork necessary for insurance filing.
Maintain broad expertise in clinical areas and certifications or relevant credentialing.
Other duties as assigned

Education

Master's Degree - Counseling or social work - Required

Work Experience

3 Years - Clinical experience - Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Required Upon Hire Or
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Required Upon Hire
C.E.A.P./A.A.M.F.T. certified - Preferred Upon Hire
