Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality welding tasks across various projects, ensuring all work aligns with safety standards, technical specifications, and industry codes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your welding skills to create durable, precise, and reliable metal substrates.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding, TIG welding for various manufacturing tasks. Majority of daily welding will be TIG welding of 304 stainless steel.
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment to prepare materials for welding and assembly.
Follow safety regulations diligently by adhering to safety protocol guidelines related to power tool safety, rigging procedures, and construction site safety practices.
Maintain quality control by inspecting welds to ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards.
Assist in fabrication processes including assembly of structural components while maintaining a focus on precision and durability.
Collaborate with team members to verify t technical schematics and designs.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding techniques including MIG and TIG.
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to substrate fabrication.
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools safely and efficiently; familiarity with calipers and other measurement devices essential for quality control.
Understanding of safety regulations including NFPA standards for fire sprinkler fitting systems; commitment to safety protocol adherence at all times.
Construction site experience with exposure to rigging procedures and working within ASME codes & standards is highly desirable.
Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately under tight deadlines.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy 45lbs of materials safely, and work in various environmental conditions throughout construction or manufacturing sites.
