Litigator / Practicing Attorney - AI Trainer

Job Summary

In this role, you'll apply your legal expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.

No prior experience in AI is required—your litigation expertise is what matters most.

This opportunity is ideal for practicing attorneys with experience in litigation, trial work, appellate practice, or judicial clerkships who want to help improve AI systems through legal analysis, writing, and review.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, refine, and improve AI-generated legal content, including briefs, legal arguments, and memoranda.
Review AI outputs for legal accuracy, factual correctness, analytical quality, and adherence to professional standards.
Provide detailed written feedback identifying legal errors, logical inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Apply expert judgment to complex or ambiguous legal scenarios to improve AI reasoning.
Draft and edit legal arguments and sample legal language covering a variety of litigation matters.
Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams while incorporating feedback throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school.
Active license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
3–15 years of post-JD legal experience, preferably in litigation, trial, or appellate practice.
Strong legal writing, legal analysis, and research skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote, project-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Federal or state judicial clerkship experience.
Trial, appellate, or federal court litigation experience.
Experience as a law journal editor or published legal author.
Teaching experience in legal education (law school faculty, adjunct professor, lecturer, or fellow).
Interest in legal technology or AI-related legal projects.
