Full Job Description

Note: This seasonal and recurring position at H&R Block starts in January 2024.

A local, family-owned H&R Block Franchise office seeks to fill the role of Client Service Professional (CSP) for seasonal and recurring employment. Duties include answering phones, greeting clients, handling paperwork signatures, scheduling, filing, and more. The ideal applicant has demonstrated prior experience in the receptionist / administrative field and is friendly, reliable, detail orientated, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

As a Client Service Professional at H&R Block you will:

Answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner
Match clients with the best-suited tax professional for their needs
Manage cash, credit, or check transactions, ensuring accuracy of daily drawer reports
Maintain and organize customer files for pick-up or storage
Assist WFA (Work From Anywhere) Remote Tax Associates by facilitating the process
Maintain office cleanliness and organization of resources with team members

Things we look for in a Client Service Professional at H&R Block:

Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in a customer service environment

Ideal candidates would have:

Sales and/or marketing experience
Ability to multi-task
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Point of sale experience
Knowledge and experience with a Windows based computer system

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Day shift
