Full Job Description

Passionate and dedicated therapists sought to join an expanding group practice in the Greater Boston area. Experience with couples counseling preferred; a desire to become trained in evidence-based techniques for couples a must. Training will be provided in house and/or will be reimbursed upon completion. Clinicians can choose to work remotely or see clients in our Somerville office.

Competitive compensation rates with biweekly paychecks (clinicians are paid ahead of collections from insurance companies)
Payment for both clinical and administrative work (ie paperwork, meetings, trainings, etc)
This is a W2 position
Health insurance benefits (full time)

Flexible schedule
Join a team-orientated, supportive practice built around collaboration and continuing education
Education, professional growth and training opportunities available
Free CEUs
Attend bimonthy meetings and peer supervision groups
Seek to build a practice of at least 10 client contact hours per week for part time position; 25 client contact hours per week for full time position

Qualifications:

Independent license to practice in Massachusetts
Interest around working with couples and/or relational issues
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to build rapport with clients
Strong leadership qualities
Timely completion of paperwork

The name "Back to Good" refers to a process of returning to a foundational state of safety and security. All of us deeply crave connection with others and these connections, when secure, create healing and wellness. These restorative relationships can be found within a family, between friends, between romantic partners, or within ourselves. The mission behind Back to Good Counseling is to provide therapeutic and relational support to children, couples, individuals, and families. We rely on techniques from treatment modalities such as Emotionally Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Art Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Accessibility: We understand that not everyone can afford to pay hundreds of dollars each month to care for their mental health. This is why we provide coverage under as many insurance plans as possible; we want to provide an opportunity for clients to focus on their treatment instead of on a mounting financial burden.

Client as expert: We believe that our clients are the experts in their own lives; our job is to support them, come alongside them, and be a witness to them. Ultimately the client knows what “better” looks and feels like. We respect this fact as a fundamental aspect of the treatment process.
