Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bilingual Accounts Receivable Representative to join our financial team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the collection of outstanding payments, ensuring accurate account reconciliation, and providing exceptional customer service to both English and Spanish-speaking clients. Your expertise in billing, revenue cycle management, and financial software will be essential to maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting our organization’s financial health. Duties

Manage accounts receivable processes by accurately invoicing clients, applying payments, and performing account analysis to resolve discrepancies
Conduct collections by following up with clients/companies via phone, email, or written correspondence to secure outstanding payments
Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure data accuracy and identify any delinquencies or errors in billing or payments
Communicate professionally with clients using excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to negotiate payment arrangements or resolve issues
Collaborate with accounts payable teams to ensure proper handling of debits & credits, revenue cycle management, and financial reporting
Maintain detailed records of all collection activities, account adjustments, and correspondence in compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or related financial roles
Familiarity with accounting software and financial software used for account reconciliation and revenue cycle management
Excellent phone etiquette combined with effective negotiation skills to handle sensitive conversations professionally
Ability to analyze accounts thoroughly using math skills and financial concepts to identify issues and suggest solutions
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for effective communication with diverse clients
Understanding of accounts payable processes, debits & credits, and general accounting principles
Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or clerical accounting experience required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
