Office Manager / Accounting Manager

Location: Pharr, TX

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time (Schedule may vary based on business needs)

Position Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and administrative functions for a busy branch in Pharr, TX. This role is responsible for managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and supporting overall office operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee vendor and customer accounts, including invoicing, payments, and collections
Ensure accurate coding, posting, and reconciliation of financial transactions
Prepare and review daily financial reports
Maintain bank ledger and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
Track rental activity, billing, and payments
Generate invoices and support sales team with financial data
Calculate and process sales commissions accurately and on time
Manage office supplies, phone calls, and general administrative support
Maintain organized filing systems and records

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or office management experience
Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and reconciliations
Experience with financial reporting and general ledger management
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Professional communication skills, including collections experience
Experience in equipment rental, construction, or related industry
Experience with interest-based billing or financial calculations
Previous leadership or branch-level accounting experience
