Job description:

Training: Two weeks 40 hours Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
After Training: 20-24 hours Thurs-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST and Sat 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our team in Covington, GA. This position is part-time. The Operations Assistant will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment and onboarding process of new employees, ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained to meet manufacturing operational needs. This role will involve collaborating with various clients and departments assessing staffing needs, sourcing candidates through various channels, conducting interviews, facilitating the hiring process, payroll documentation, and assisting in on-site operational needs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Helping the operations manager and specialist with daily tasks
Reviewing a client's operations to suggest areas for improvement to the operations manager and specialist
Organizing and filing important documents
Preparing staff meetings, presentations, and information sessions.
Helping with the recruiting and onboarding for new employees
Review resumes and applications, conduct pre-screening interviews, and schedule interviews with operation specialist.
Completing administrative tasks like ordering inventory and supplies
Assist with various HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee files and processing paperwork.
Monitor and track employee attendance, scheduling, and time-off requests.
Assist with employee payroll records and timesheets daily and weekly.
Handle employee inquiries and issues related to staffing and scheduling.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in recruitment, staffing, or HR coordination roles required.
Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Google, HRIS systems.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
3-5 years of relevant job experience
Reliable Transportation
Comply with Background Check
Comply with Drug Test
Must have a record of good attendance with previous employers and a recent outstanding work history
OSHA 10 Hour Training
Two professional referrals in the related work field

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 24.0 per week
