Job Description:

The Purchasing Coordinator plays a critical role in our business. Their primary task is to support sales & ensure the essential goods are available to fill orders. Reporting to the VP of Procurement, this position ensures that the organization acquires the necessary goods and materials in alignment with the company’s mission, budget, and policies. This position works collaboratively with all departments to have a firm understanding of when goods will be accessible. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maximizing the company’s effectiveness to fill open orders.

Job Responsibilities:

Process purchase requisitions and ensure timely and accurate procurement of goods and services.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate pricing, and secure favorable terms.
Manage and maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities and transactions.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Ensure that vendors meet obligations and quality standards.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies with orders, delivery, or invoicing.
Track and monitor inventory levels, ensuring that supplies are available when needed without excess stock.
Manage and develop new products

Requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent data entry and documentation skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with vendors & colleges.
Knowledge of procurement best practices and vendor negotiation strategies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Concur the purchasing software tools and ERP system

Education:

· Bachelors Degree (preferred)

Pay:

Annual Salary: $50,000 to $55,000

9-hour shift

Day shift
Monday to Thursday 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Fridays till 2:00 (1 Friday every 3 Weeks )
