Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Job description:

MCDS provides services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in the McPherson area and has done so for over 40 years.

Mission Statement

Multi Community Diversified Services, Inc. will excel in providing services to individuals with disabilities, by promoting community inclusion and employment opportunities with maximum level of independence and dignity.

Purpose Statement

We are looking for an experienced individual to take on the role of Accounting Assistant-Payroll/Billing in McPherson, KS. Candidates are required to possess excellent accounting, time management and communication skills. This position will be responsible for payroll processing, benefits, Medicaid billing and other accounting related functions. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to meet multiple deadlines.

Requirements

Associates Degree in Accounting preferred.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
This position must maintain a very high level of timeliness, confidentiality and accuracy.
Experience with Google Docs, Microsoft Office and other accounting software is required.

Responsibilities

Payroll and benefits processing, other general accounting functions
Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
