Hemingway's Underground is a 21+ cocktail lounge in Medina focused on exceptional hospitality, thoughtfully prepared food, and creating memorable guest experiences.

We're not a corporate restaurant, and we're not looking for someone who's just punching a clock. We're growing, and we're looking for a dependable Line Cook who wants to grow with us. If you take pride in your work, enjoy being part of a close-knit team, and want the opportunity to build something meaningful, we'd love to meet you.

You'll prepare Mediterranean-inspired dishes including sandwiches, shareables, salads, and entrées while working alongside ownership. We value consistency over speed and craftsmanship even during volume.

A note about our kitchen: We are a no-fryer kitchen. Our menu is built around fresh ingredients and a variety of cooking techniques.

We're looking for someone who:

Is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in showing up prepared for every shift.
Has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow.
Stays organized and works with purpose in a fast-paced environment.
Can multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and is willing to help wherever needed.
Takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and quality.
Ideal candidates are available most Wednesday–Saturday evenings.

Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required. If you're dependable, learn quickly, and enjoy cooking, we'd love to meet you.
