Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Optometric Technician/Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various clerical and administrative tasks including but not limited to verifying insurances, answering phone calls, checking patients in and out, ordering contact lenses, helping style patients, and adjust glasses. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel or department.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
Maintain organized filing systems for easy access to documents.
Assist with office management tasks, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
Provide personal assistant support to management as needed.
Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in clerical or office management roles is preferred.
Proficient in data entry with strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Previous experience in optometry/optical field is a must.
