Full Job Description

Position Summary:

The Commercial Risk Assistant II is a critical member of the team who assists the commercial lines operations with specific functions related to policy processing. This individual is key in providing support to both the commercial risk advisor, the admin team, and the customer.

Essential Functions:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Supports the administrative specialist with customer communications by answering phones.
Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
Answer billing questions (installments, fees, cancellation notices, reinstatements) and take payments or direct clients to appropriate payment methods
Document all client interactions, changes, and requests in the agency management system
Process policy endorsements (adding/removing locations, vehicles, drivers, equipment, etc.)
Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for clients’ customers, landlords, vendors, etc.
Document all client interactions, changes, and requests in the agency management system
Upload and organize policies, endorsements, certificates, applications, and correspondence
Participate in carrier meetings or training as needed

Education and Experience:

· HS Diploma or relevant experience

Excellent customer service skills

Physical Demands:

· Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods

· Occasionally stand, walk, or move around the office

· Use hands and fingers for typing, writing, using office equipment

· Lift light objects up to 15 pounds

Work Environment:

All Commercial Risk Assistant II positions are full-time, in- office positions.

Hours are 8:30-4:30 with a 1 hour lunch

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
