Full Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a contract basis. This exciting opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about communication therapy and thrive in a collaborative school-based environment. Your work will help support the speech and language development of children, giving them the tools they need to succeed academically and beyond.

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

Valid SLPA license or eligibility in the state
Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational abilities and adaptability
A commitment to student growth and success
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with certified Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver targeted therapy and support
Assist in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
Provide direct intervention services under supervision, both one-on-one and in group settings
Monitor, document, and report student progress
Engage with families and educators to support students' speech and language goals
Maintain accurate records and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical practice
