Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic People Operation Generalist to support our human resources functions and foster a positive, compliant, and engaging workplace environment. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in human capital management, employee relations, and HR systems, with a passion for streamlining processes and enhancing organizational culture.

As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for various aspects of workforce management, talent acquisition, employee development, and compliance initiatives while maintaining many day-to-day functions to ensure operational excellence across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
3+ years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

PHR or SHRM-CP
ADP Workforce now
3+ years healthcare-related HR or MSO experience preferred (clinical operations, provider credentialing, or healthcare administration).
Experience working with partner provider organizations or across multiple sites preferred.
Experience with payroll/compensation modeling for healthcare providers, including calculating RVUs, productivity-based compensation models, incentive calculations, and familiarity with physician/provider pay structures.

Core Competencies:

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Excellent verbal and written communication including the ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels.
High attention to detail & strong organizational skills
Proficiency with HRIS, Talent Management & Benefits systems, or the technical ability and willingness to learn.
Computer proficiency in MS Office & Google Suite
Strong business acumen and relationship management
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Essential Functions:

Partner with MSO and partner clinical leaders to source, screen, and coordinate hiring for clinical, administrative, and operational roles.
Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including maintaining employee records in the HRIS & digital employee files through the entire employee lifecycle
Provide explanation, interpretation, and/or guidance to employees regarding the administrative activities of People Operations programs, policies, and procedures, escalate as needed.
Oversees and provides guidance to employees on benefits programs, such as 401k plans; medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; and other existing company benefits
Assists leadership with employee relations matters, leave administration, accommodation requests, investigations, and separation processes; coordinates with external HR consultants and legal counsel as appropriate.
Process bi-weekly payroll and off-cycle pay requests, ensuring accuracy, compliance with wage and hour requirements, and proper administration of deductions and benefit elections.
Participates in exit interviews, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for continuous improvement
Facilitate and engaging new hire orientation and onboarding follow-up for new team members
Oversees and ensures compliance of all leave-of-absence requests.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Coordinates recruiting activities including job postings, candidate scheduling, applicant tracking, pre-employment screenings, and onboarding logistics.
Maintains employee personnel files, payroll records, I-9 documentation, and other employment-related records in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
2+ years healthcare-related HR or MSO experience preferred (clinical operations, provider credentialing, or healthcare administration).
Experience working with partner provider organizations or across multiple sites preferred.

Travel Requirements: Hybrid with travel to our different clinic locations in the Bay Area, including Monterey County.
