Class A CDL Driver — Specialized Truck Haul (48 States + Canada)

Earnings & Compensation
Drivers receive a total of 26% of 100% of the load:
- 20% paid by the carrier partner
- 6% additional paid by Windy Hill, Inc.
Example: A $10,000 load pays the driver $2,600 total compensation.
Compensation is a W-2 + 1099 hybrid structure (example split: $2,000 W-2 and $600 1099).
Canada Runs: This position runs into Canada. A passport is required — or you must be able to obtain one.
Position Overview (What You’ll Do)
This is a specialized truck-haul role hauling Class 4, 5, and 6 commercial trucks that are stacked (decked) onto a specialized drop deck / lowboy truck-haul trailer.
You will deliver to all 48 states and Canada, supporting dealer, distributor, and commercial receiver yard deliveries. The trailer is loaded and unloaded by the driver. Several terminals have load assistance available to help during the process.
Equipment & Tools
- 13-speed manual transmission
- Tractor is equipped with PrePass and E-ZPass (may be used for toll roads)
Training & Onboarding
Drivers are required to attend a paid three (3) day training program and will run with a trainer for a minimum of one (1) week, but no more than two (2) weeks.
Once approved, you will complete an online application with the carrier partner. The carrier partner will handle:
- Drug test
- Physical
- MVR checks (dates/times as scheduled)
- Transportation for training
During onboarding, you’ll be in close contact with the onboarding team to coordinate scheduling and ensure a smooth start.

Requirements (Read Carefully)
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be comfortable operating a 13-speed manual
- Must be able to load/unload stacked (decked) trucks (load assist available at select terminals)
- Must be willing to run 48 states + Canada
