We're looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated Bookkeeper to join our growing accounting team. If you enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and taking ownership of accounting operations, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, expanding business.

The ideal candidate has experience with accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting. Experience working with retail, inventory, real estate, or multi-entity organizations is highly desirable.

What You'll Do

As our Bookkeeper, you'll play an important role in maintaining the financial health of multiple business entities. Responsibilities include:

Prepare and post general ledger journal entries
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
Manage bank deposits and reconciliations
Process and reconcile accounts payable invoices
Maintain payroll and AP uploads in QuickBooks
Record inventory and cost of goods sold transactions
Prepare trial balances and post adjusting entries
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
Assist with special projects and other accounting duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
Strong accounting fundamentals
Excellent organizational and time management skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

Preferred Experience

Retail accounting
Real estate accounting
Inventory management
Multi-company or multi-entity accounting
Point-of-sale (POS) systems
NetSuite experience
Payroll processing

Physical Requirements
