Salary: $38 - 42 per hour

We are looking for a skilled Transaction Monitoring Analyst to join a financial crimes team in Miami for a temporary assignment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying, investigating, and mitigating financial risks and fraud within the organization.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough investigations into suspicious financial activities, including fraud, money laundering, and other illicit activities.
Analyze large volumes of financial data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that may indicate fraudulent or criminal behavior.
Collaborate with internal teams, including compliance, legal, and risk management, to ensure timely and effective response to potential risks.
Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, analysis, and recommendations for remedial action.
Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends related to financial crime prevention.
Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls to enhance the effectiveness of financial investigations processes.
Provide training and guidance to junior staff members on investigative techniques and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in financial investigations, fraud detection, or related field within the banking or financial services industry.
Bilingual - English & Spanish
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Proficiency in using financial investigation tools and software (e.g., AML software, data analytics tools).
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to financial crime prevention (e.g., AML regulations, KYC requirements).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
