Full Job Description

MVP Disc Sports is a sporting goods company based in Marlette, Michigan. We are a growing organization with a mission to be the leading edge in technology and innovation in all areas of disc golf. Our commitment to excellence drives us to push boundaries in design, manufacturing, and media.

The E-commerce Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations and optimization of the company's online stores. This involves managing product listings, ensuring accurate information, implementing promotional campaigns, monitoring sales data, and improving the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a passion for e-commerce, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Management:

Create and maintain product listings, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and pricing.
Manage product categories and navigation to optimize browsing and search experiences.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse or fulfillment team to ensure timely product availability.

Website Management:

Assist in maintaining and updating the e-commerce websites, ensuring itsfunctionality, security, and user-friendliness.
Implement website improvements based on data analysis and customer feedback.
Troubleshoot website issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate technical team.

Marketing and Promotions:

Execute online marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales, including email marketing, social media promotions, and online advertising.
Create and manage promotional offers, discounts, and sales events.
Track campaign performance and analyze results to optimize strategies.

Order Fulfillment and Customer Service:

Process online orders, track shipments, and handle customer inquiries related to orders and products.
Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Maintain positive customer relationships and build brand loyalty.

Data and Reporting:

Monitor key e-commerce metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition cost.
Monitor sales data and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare reports and presentations to summarize e-commerce performance and provide insight to management.

Additional Responsibilities:

Perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager, provided they are within the scope of your training, capabilities, and role expectations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in an e-commerce or online retail environment.
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and technologies.
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and website analytics tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with digital marketing and social media marketing.
Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) principles.
Familiarity with graphic design and image editing software.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
