Wedding Assistant / Team Bartender Overview
We're seeking enthusiastic, dependable team members who are passionate about creating unforgettable wedding experiences. As a Wedding Assistant / Team Bartender, you'll play an important role in ensuring every wedding and event runs seamlessly by assisting with event logistics, guest experience, venue operations, and beverage service when needed. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys serving others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to step into whatever role is needed to create an exceptional event.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the overall execution of weddings and special events from setup through event conclusion.
- Support the venue leadership team with event timelines, transitions, and guest experience.
- Welcome and assist couples, wedding parties, vendors, and guests with professionalism and hospitality.
- Help coordinate ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and other event transitions.
- Set up and break down tables, chairs, décor, signage, and other event elements.
- Ensure event spaces remain clean, organized, stocked, and presentation-ready throughout the event.
- Serve beer, wine, cocktails, and signature drinks when assigned to the bar.
- Restock supplies, clear tables, remove trash, and maintain the overall appearance of the venue.
- Anticipate the needs of couples, guests, and fellow team members, stepping in proactively to resolve issues before they arise.
- Work collaboratively with caterers, DJs, photographers, planners, photographers, and other vendors to ensure a seamless event experience.
- Follow all venue policies, alcohol service regulations, and safety procedures.
- Perform additional duties as needed to help deliver an exceptional wedding experience.

Qualifications
- Experience in weddings, hospitality, events, customer service, or bartending is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, servant-hearted attitude with a team-first mindset.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
Availability
- Evening and weekend availability is required.
- Flexible scheduling based on the event calendar.
