Job Description:
The Ideal CNC Programmer will be part of a team of quality professionals in fast-paced company specializing in short run space and defense components.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Interpret customer drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerance, and specifications.
Proficiency in working with MasterCam required, knowledge of Solidworks software a plus
Ability to write and edit three, four, and five-axis programs for CNC 5 axis machines
Experience with Matsuura and Fanuc controls is preferred
Work closely with quoting department on new projects
Designs fixturing, including modeling and making drawings of necessary components
Assist machine operators, quality lead, and management in the troubleshooting of machining issues and offer advice on best machining practices
Operate within AS9100/ISO9001 requirements to include proper documentation, revision control, traceability and lot control
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Skills Requirements:

Ability to work well with others.
Must be a US citizen
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Able to handle and follow instruction.
High school diploma or equivalent.
5 years' experience as a Programmer required
5 years' experience as a Machinist required
