Bookkeeper

Location: Matawan, New Jersey Employment Type: Full-Time (On-Site)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Matawan, New Jersey. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting functions for multiple affiliated companies.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment. Experience with QuickBooks, Yardi Breeze, and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.

· Record and maintain daily financial transactions using QuickBooks.

· Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

· Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.

· Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities.

· Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

· Prepare financial reports and reconciliations using Microsoft Excel.

· Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliations.

· Support audits and other accounting-related projects.

· Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company policies.

· 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.

· Proficiency in QuickBooks.

· Experience with Yardi Breeze is preferred.

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

· Experience with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.

· Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.

· Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

· Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

· Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
