Full Job Description

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work – Full time, 40 hours per week, including some holiday work, depending on needs related to the contract. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday; 12:30 –9:00PM.

Qualification - Associates Degree or High School Diploma, and 1-3 years relevant work experience preferred. Must be knowledgeable and capable of performing cleaning and disinfecting. Must be willing to lead, supervise and train janitorial staff and/or people with disabilities at multiple locations. A valid New York State Driver’s License is required.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance – Authorized to work in the United States.

Summary/Objective – Responsible for the overall supervision and cleaning performance at agency sites.

Essential Functions – Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Ability to lead, motivate, train and evaluate janitorial employees in multiple agency locations.
2. Develop work and task schedules, per the SOW, for workers engaged in janitorial services.
3. Provide “model” quality cleaning standards, and assist in cleaning Ogdensburg work center.
4. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety practices and proper chemical handling.
5. Monitor the use of supplies and equipment within a specified budget.
6. Plan and monitor the completion of all periodic work.
7. Address work quality issues and other concerns in an effective, timely manner.
8. Provide leadership by example i.e. being punctual and exceptional attendance records.
9. Communicate concerns with Quality Control Manager and Contracts Manager on a regular basis.
10. Basic Computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
11. Adhere to all Agency Policies and Procedures.
12. Support the goals, objectives, and philosophy of the agency.
13. Will comply with CQL, Justice Center, HIPAA and Corporate Compliance regulations.
14. Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility – Provide supervision and guidance to the employees at this work site.
