MWD Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Build, program, and test all downhole MWD tools including surface decoding and logging systems in preparation for drilling operations
· Work alongside Directional Drillers and rig crews to properly install MWD systems in BHA assemblies
· Record telemetered tool data, generate custom gamma log files and deliver to customers in real-time
· Identify downhole problems affecting MWD and effectively implement troubleshooting techniques to mitigate customer impacts
· Complete pre-run/post-run data compilations and service all MWD tools between runs
· Effectively communicate with customers and or all parties that may be involved in drilling projects
· Maintain up to date safety training assigned by both the customer and ProDirectional
· Interact with customers, rig crews, and ProDirectional personnel with a positive and problem-solving mindset
· Carry out job duties according to established ProDirectional health and safety program, including those relating to Company rules, hazard reporting, use and care of tools, safe work practices, use of P.P.E., and accident reporting.
