Program Manager - Dealer Platform
Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire
Location: Maplewood, MN

Duties:
The Dealer Platform Program Manager is responsible for administering, optimizing, and continuously enhancing 3M’s dealer platform to strengthen dealer engagement, generate demand for the dealer program, and improve dealers’ ability to sell 3M products.

This role serves as the platform owner and key connector across internal teams, external digital service vendors, and dealer partners. The position manages lead syndication, digital marketing content, Learning Management System functionality, rewards and incentive tracking, Point of Sale reporting integration, and platform performance insights.

The ideal candidate is a strong program manager with experience in digital platforms, marketing technology, dealer or channel programs, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Syndication and Demand Generation
Establish, manage, and optimize the process for syndicating leads from the 3M dealer locator directly to dealer shops.

Track lead flow, lead quality, follow-up activity, and conversion performance.

Partner with internal stakeholders to improve the lead management experience and increase conversion rates.
Ensure the platform supports demand generation efforts for the dealer program and helps connect customers with appropriate dealer locations.

Digital Content and Dealer Enablement
House, organize, and maintain digital marketing content and value-added services within the dealer platform.

Partner with Shopper Marketing and Integrated Marketing teams to ensure relevant, timely, and high-quality content is available to dealers.
Support the creation, editing, routing, publishing, and maintenance of content used on the platform.
Ensure digital assets are easy to access, current, brand-aligned, and useful for helping dealers promote and sell 3M products.

Learning Management System Administration
Manage the platform’s Learning Management System to host training content, track completion, and support dealer compliance requirements.

Partner with the Training Manager to develop strategies that increase LMS adoption, completion rates, and overall training effectiveness.
Use LMS reporting to identify gaps, monitor participation, and provide visibility into dealer training compliance.
Ensure training content is organized, accessible, and aligned with dealer program objectives.

Rewards, Incentives, and POS Reporting
Administer dealer rewards by managing points accrued from purchases and ensuring accurate incentive tracking.

Use Point of Sale reporting to track purchases, incentives, rewards, and dealer participation.
Partner with Data Analytics to ensure POS data accuracy, timeliness, and integration with the dealer platform.
Collaborate with Finance to forecast accruals, manage budget expectations, and support dealer incentive payout planning.
Identify opportunities to improve transparency, automation, and ease of use in the rewards experience.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure alignment and cohesiveness across dealer-facing programs, content, and digital services.

Work with 3M digital services vendors to improve automation, streamline processes, and make it easier for dealers to procure physical assets or access services.
Partner with Shopper Marketing to bring new, value-adding, and appropriate content to the LMS and dealer platform.
Collaborate with Integrated Marketing to create, edit, route, and publish content for platform use.
Work with Data Analytics to improve reporting accuracy and platform integration.
Partner with Finance to support incentive forecasting, accruals, and reward payout planning.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve platform functionality, adoption, and dealer satisfaction

Required Skills:

Proven experience in program management, platform administration, channel marketing, digital marketing, sales enablement, or a related role.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Experience working with digital platforms, marketing technology, or dealer/channel enablement tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners.
Ability to translate business needs into platform requirements, process improvements, and measurable outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, technology, or dealer/channel-based industry.

Technical proficiency with Learning Management Systems, Point of Sale systems, digital asset management tools, CRM platforms, or marketing automation systems.
Experience managing rewards, incentive, loyalty, or dealer engagement programs.
Familiarity with lead syndication, dealer locator tools, or customer referral processes.
Relevant certifications in program management, digital marketing, platform administration, or related disciplines.
