Part-Time Nurse Practitioner

Schedule: Part-Time
Days: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

NEUAGE Health + Wellness is a rapidly growing wellness practice with six locations in Ladue, Des Peres, and Lake Saint Louis, Missouri; Leawood, Kansas; Sarasota, Florida; and Spanish Fort, Alabama. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our team and help patients achieve their health and wellness goals.

This position is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner seeking a consistent part-time schedule or someone currently working PRN who is looking to add regular weekly hours.

Position Summary

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnose and treat hormone imbalances and other wellness-related conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting our mission of transforming health through evidence-based wellness services.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and review medical histories
Order, interpret, and discuss laboratory and diagnostic test results
Diagnose hormone imbalances and other wellness-related conditions
Develop individualized hormone optimization and wellness treatment plans
Prescribe medications and therapies, including medical weight loss treatments, peptide therapy, vitamin therapy, and IV therapy, in accordance with state regulations
Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle practices
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure outstanding patient care
Stay current with advancements in hormone optimization and wellness medicine through continuing education

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Alabama Nurse Practitioner license
Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, emergency department, urgent care, or similar healthcare setting
Experience practicing under a Collaborative Practice Agreement (CPA) with a supervising physician and a strong understanding of Alabama Nurse Practitioner laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DEA registration and an Alabama Controlled Substances Certificate (ACSC)
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
High ethical standards and commitment to quality care
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with hormone replacement therapy (HRT)
Experience with medical weight loss programs, including GLP-1 therapies
Experience prescribing GLP-1 medications
Experience with peptide therapy and IV vitamin therapy
Interest or experience in functional or integrative wellness medicine
