Full Job Description

On-Call Caregiver (4 Days On / 3 Days Off) – In-Home Care

Family First Caregivers is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced On-Call Caregiver to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is flexible, patient, and passionate about providing exceptional in-home care while representing our company's mission and values.

This is a 4-days-on, 3-days-off on-call position. Applicants must be comfortable being on standby and prepared to report to client shifts as early as 6:00 AM. During scheduled on-call days, you must be available throughout the day and ready to travel to assignments as needed.

Responsibilities:

Remain on call and available during scheduled on-call days.
Provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care for clients with varying levels of needs.
Assist with all activities of daily living, including full-assist care when necessary.
Be prepared to report to client homes promptly when assigned.
Represent Family First Caregivers professionally and uphold our standards of care.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and management.
Maintain flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced home care environment.

Qualifications:

Healthcare experience is required.
Previous caregiving or direct patient care experience is required.
Must be comfortable providing full-assist care, including transfers, personal hygiene assistance, toileting, feeding assistance, and mobility support.
Must possess a gentle, kind, and patient demeanor.
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to respond quickly when called to a shift.
Must understand and represent the Family First Caregivers brand with professionalism and compassion.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
Liaison, client relations, or healthcare coordination experience is a plus.

Schedule:

4 days on call / 3 days off.
Must be available beginning at 6:00 AM on scheduled on-call days.
Must remain available throughout the day while on call.
