Full Job Description

Southern View Media is looking for a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance our client's brand presence, engage their audience, and drive traffic and sales.

The Social Media Manager's most important jobs include (but are not limited to):

Write compelling copy for social media and meta ads

Creating graphics/videos for social media and meta ads

Collecting content (photos and videos) as needed for clients

Proofreading other social media managers content and websites

Talking to clients to get information for current content plans

Creating content plans and managing a content calendar

Composing email campaigns for clients

Making creative suggestions for clients based on current trends and client’s needs

Attend networking events

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and sales to ensure cohesive brand messaging.

Experiment with new formats, platforms, and strategies to continuously innovate.

Monitoring social pages for messages and comments

Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with broader marketing initiatives.

Updating and maintaining client social channels

Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure the success of social media campaigns and content.

Proactively make suggestions to adjust content strategies as best practices change.

Any other marketing or networking as needed

Required Skills and Experience

Profecient in Canva and/or Illustrator

Excellent copywriter

2 years of social media marketing experience required

Problem Solving Skills

Client Relations and Customer Service

Reading and explaining social media metrics

Up to date on best practices for social media content creation and engagement.

Fluent in English

Must have a live and secure Facebook Page and LinkedIn Page

Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Creative mindset with strong storytelling abilities.

Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Familiar with Adobe products such at Illustrator and Photoshop.

Experience with social media advertising and analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics)

College degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
