Compensation: $23–$27 hourly, plus benefits and monthly performance-based bonuses.
Schedule: 40 hours per week. This position requires availability during early mornings, evenings, weekends, grassroots and occasional holidays or community events.

The Opportunity
Club Pilates Tracy is seeking an energetic, results-oriented General Manager to lead the studio’s daily operations, membership growth, customer experience, and sales team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, building relationships in the community, has a passion for fitness and using performance data to grow a service-based business. The General Manager will oversee membership sales and retention, local marketing, staff scheduling, studio operations, and coordination with the instructor team.
The General Manager reports to Regional Manager and directly supervises the sales staff.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Sales and Membership Growth
- Own the studio’s membership sales process, from lead generation and follow-up through introductory classes, enrollment, and onboarding.
- Coach Sales Representatives on prospecting, consultations, follow-up, objection handling, and closing.
- Drive revenue across memberships, retail products, private training, and teacher training.
- Monitor sales activity, conversion rates, retention, revenue, and other key performance indicators.
- Create action plans when performance falls below goals.
- Build local awareness through community partnerships, grassroots marketing, networking, referral programs, promotions, and events.
- Manage local marketing campaigns and social media activity in alignment with brand standards.
- Support member retention by identifying cancellation risks and addressing member concerns promptly.
- Oversee collection and resolution of outstanding membership balances in accordance with studio policies.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, schedule, coach, and manage the studio’s Sales Representatives.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and training.
- Create an accountable, collaborative, and member-focused studio culture.
- Participate in instructor recruiting in partnership with Regional Manager and Lead Instructor.
- Coordinate instructor schedules with Regional Manager and Lead Instructor and review instructor feedback or evaluations completed by the Lead Instructor.
- Communicate studio priorities, promotions, policy changes, and operational needs to the entire team.
Studio Operations and Member Experience
- Oversee daily studio operations and ensure a consistently welcoming, professional member experience.
- Resolve elevated member concerns using sound judgment and within established policies.
- Maintain accurate staff schedules, member records, inventory counts, and business reports.
- Use ClubReady/iKizmet to monitor leads, memberships, revenue, attendance, collections, and other studio activity.
- Coordinate with vendors and maintain appropriate inventory of retail merchandise, cleaning products, forms, and administrative supplies.
- Ensure the studio is clean, organized, safe, and consistent with Club Pilates brand standards.
- Enforce studio policies and procedures fairly and consistently.
- Protect confidential employee, applicant, member, and business information.
- Perform other related responsibilities that support the studio’s operations and growth.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of sales experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, or another service-based business.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and generate business revenue.
- Experience supervising, coaching, and motivating a customer-facing team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional communication by telephone, email, and text message.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Comfort interpreting sales, attendance, retention, and revenue reports.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional judgment, reliability, attention to detail, and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, instructors, members, vendors, and members of the community.
- Availability to work the schedule required for the role, including employee coverage as needed.
- Reliable transportation for occasional off-site community events, supply purchases, or other authorized studio business.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous fitness studio management experience.
- Experience with ClubReady/iKizmet/Digital Stack or a similar fitness membership platform.
- Experience recruiting, onboarding, and managing sales employees.
- Experience in managing local social media accounts and community marketing.
- Knowledge of Pilates or an established interest in fitness and wellness.

- Maintaining clean, organized, appropriately staffed, and brand-compliant studio operations.
- Building productive relationships within the Tracy community.
Specific goals and performance expectations will be reviewed regularly with the Regional Manager and Owners.

Physical and Work Requirements
This position regularly requires working at a computer, communicating by telephone and text, moving throughout the studio, and assisting with studio setup and inventory. The employee must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull boxes and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds without reasonable accommodation.
